Ginger Scott is the author of five young and new adult romances, with her sixth title, You and Everything After, the sequel to This Is Falling.
One moment is all it took to steal the security of Rowe Stanton. She suffered great loses but hoped to move forward with her life and decided to go away for college. She was uncertain of making new friends and experiencing new things.
Nate Preeter unexpectedly met Rowe and couldn’t seem to stop thinking about her. He wanted to know everything about Rowe but found her hesitant to share her past. What Rowe didn’t count on is that Nate could be the perfect person to get her to live life again.
There were some really good moments in this novel where the writing just drew me in and I couldn’t wait to read what happened next. Yet there were more moments where I questioned what was going on.
The appearance of another male character interested in Rowe really stuck with me and left me wondering why it was really needed. I felt that he was introduced but never really had a chance to be part of the story.
For me this was just an okay read. I give This is Falling 3 out of 5 stars.
