I wanted to share information about an event that I will be taking part in. I will be performing a Zumba routine with a group of people at this event. Please consider raising awareness for this cause.
Hundreds of volunteers, performers and donors are needed to help AID achieve this year's fundraising goal. With the help of compassionate individuals, we will be able to continue our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities, mental illness and special needs to achieve independence and community inclusion.
Contact Wendy Bialek (847-931-2294) today if you're interested in becoming a Telethon sponsor or to become a volunteer!
Phone volunteers are needed to answer phones for one hour shifts throughout the day (2 hour total time commitment). Over 500 volunteers will come together to help AID raise $125,000 for programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, those who have suffered a trauma and those at risk.
We would be thrilled to have you join us at the 16th Annual AID Telethon on March 14th, 2015. Show some school or company spirit by wearing matching jerseys or shirts!
This live ten-hour event will broadcast live from Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove; it airs on local cable television stations and streams on the AID homepage:
