I received this ARC of Off Season by Sawyer Bennett in exchange for an honest review.
Cady Dunne can’t help but give in to Zane Kavanaugh. They share an intense night of pleasure and meaningful conversation. They part ways thinking they will never see each other again, however Zane can’t help but reach out to Cady. What they have to decide is what happens when their feelings go further than friendship.
I really liked this story and the characters in them. It was a fresh break from the typical problem of characters that are afraid of commitment, are unfaithful and deceptive. It was about a couple who is faced with the challenge of a long distance relationship and figuring out if what they have is worth fighting for.
I received this ARC of Draw Me In by Regina Cole from Random House Publishing Group-Loveswept through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Hailey is a graphic design major who no longer has the help of her parents to pay for her continued education. She stumbles upon a receptionist opening in a tattoo shop. There she meets irresistible Neill who is just as drawn to her as she is to him.
I thought it was an interesting read but Hailey’s reactions to Neill seemed confusing. I didn’t really like the way the story progressed, how Neill’s past was brought out or Hailey’s predicament in school.
