I've read the Pushing the Limits series by Kaite McGarry and loved how edgy they were. Her next book Nowhere But Here is coming out soon and I cannot wait to read it.
Check out the book trailer for NOWHERE BUT HERE. The first book in the Thunder Road series will be released on May 26, 2015.
Seventeen-year-old Emily likes her life the way it is: doting parents, good friends, good school in a safe neighborhood. Sure, she's curious about her biological father—the one who chose life in a motorcycle club, the Reign of Terror, over being a parent—but that doesn't mean she wants to be a part of his world. But when a reluctant visit turns into an extended summer vacation among relatives she never knew she had, one thing becomes clear: nothing is what it seems. Not the club, not her secret-keeping father and not Oz, a guy with suck-me-in blue eyes who can help her understand them both.
Oz wants one thing: to join the Reign of Terror. They're the good guys. They protect people. They're…family. And while Emily—the gorgeous and sheltered daughter of the club's most respected member—is in town, he's gonna prove it to her. So when her father asks him to keep her safe from a rival club with a score to settle, Oz knows it's his shot at his dream. What he doesn't count on is that Emily just might turn that dream upside down. No one wants them to be together. But sometimes the right person is the one you least expect, and the road you fear the most is the one that leads you home. Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors. She has a way of dragging you into this fictional world that grips you and won’t let go. Her books leave you enthralled with the characters even after the book is finished. I would strongly suggest if you haven’t read anything by Colleen Hoover to start with any of her amazing works. Also look out for her upcoming releases, one of which will be available tomorrow.
After I posted the If I Stay movie review, I thought to myself - people need to know about the next novel. So if you don't want spoilers, don't read the following description on the sequel. Where She Went is written in Adam's point of view, which makes it even better than the first novel. It's an amazing read, a must!
Abbi Glines is an author worth taking a look at. I've read almost all of her released books and will continue to read anything she writes. She recently blogged some news that I'd like to share. You can read it below.

Existence series #1 Existence Existence #2 Predestined Predestined (Existence #2) #2.5 Leif Leif (Existence #2.5) #3 Ceaseless Ceaseless (Existence #3) Those of you who have read Rosemary Beach as I released each book know that the original reading order was Fallen, Never, Twisted, Forever, then Simple. However, since Rush Too Far’s release I needed to change it for new readers. Rush Too Far will be enjoyed more if new readers read it with the other Too Far books. Then they can start the Perfection books.
I will be announcing the title for the last Sea Breeze book on June 30. I will also have a little surprise involved with that book. Rosemary Beach will have two books for Mase releasing in 2015. After that the future of Rosemary Beach is still undecided. I love the characters and I hope to continue the series through several more books. FOR NEW READERS: the Sea Breeze books do not have to be read in order. They are each stand alone books for different couples with the exception of While It Lasts and Sometimes It Lasts. Those two books need to be read in that order. Following along in order is fun if you want to meet the characters of each book before their story is told but it isn’t necessary. I've read six of Jennifer Echols books and wanted to recommend two that I really liked. Forget You and Going Too Far are two of my favorite young adult romance novels to this day. The characters stayed with me long after I finished reading. Jennifer Echols is one author that I frequently check out to see if she has any new releases. Check her out!
So after I posted the Perfect Chemistry recommendation I thought to myself, I can't leave out Leaving Paradise, which is also by Simone Elkeles. These two novels are captivating, heartbreaking and sweet. Caleb and Maggie will stay with you even after you finish reading their story.
Following my last post, I wanted to recommend a series that has some characters that are definitely not the norm. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles is one of my favorite young adult series. The Fuentes brothers are sure to make you laugh, cry, seeing red but ultimately capture your heart. These books are addictive, so get ready.
I found Bully by Penelope Douglas on Amazon when it didn't have many reviews. I know they say don't judge a book by it's cover, but for me that's what always draws my attention and will win me over to try a book out. The cover caught my eye but I wasn't expecting to like Bully as much as I did. I devoured this novel in one day. I looked for more books by Douglas but Bully was her debut novel. When I found out that Until You was coming out I checked it out only to find out that it was a companion novel to Bully. Bully is written in the POV of Tate and Until You is told in the POV of Jared. I was hesitant to read it thinking that it would be a retelling and wasn't optimistic. Well...it completely caught me off guard because Until You was even better than Bully. Now I'm waiting for Douglas's third novel and will continue to watch for her other releases.
Pushing The Limits Series by Katie McGarry is comprised of three books with the fourth on it's way. Pushing The Limits is another novel I found just browsing the library. For some reason I always seem to find great books unexpectedly. All the books in the series kept me glued to the pages. I read each one in two to three days. I can't wait to read Take Me On.
As much as I try to post reviews every few days, it gets tough because I like to read multiple books at once. So in between reviews I will recommend books that I’ve read in the past and with it another from the same author that will be released soon. Most of these are part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I happened to stumble upon this novel at my local library. I walked by the teen section and saw that it was displayed by staff recommendations. I read the summary and thought I’d give it a try. I'm glad that I did because right from the beginning it hooked me. I always love to read characters that are different and Fredricka (Fred) is definitely a character that doesn’t compare to others. It’s not filled with scorching sex scenes, like the usual romance novels I read, but it’s about so much more. As a minority I found myself having some sort of bond with Fred. I also liked how Fred and Ryan’s relationship progressed. This is a must read!
* If you've read or read any of the books I post, let me know what you think.
