I received this ARC of Just a Little Flirt by Renita Pizzitola from Random House Publishing Group – Loveswept through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Fallon is the girl with a not so stellar reputation when it comes to guys. When she gets the opportunity to work with pediatric patients in an internship and a chance for a paid position she makes it her mission to steer clear of any relationships that can cause her problems. Can Fallon resist temptation when she crosses paths with Cade Ryan, therapy dog handler, the hottest guy she has ever seen? Will she resist or give in? Renita Pizzitola created characters with great chemistry in this novel. I liked Fallon and all her short comings which made her character that much more likable. Cade was an amazing and compassionate character. I liked how he was willing not to fault Fallon on her insecurities and how patient he was. I was surprisingly pleased with Cade being such a sweet guy but as soon he and Fallon were intimate the words that came out of his mouth were dirty and sexy. It made those scenes really steamy and hot. There were also many side characters that I would love reading their story, especially one of Sean. A superb read with unforgettable characters. I give Just a Little Flirt 4 out of 5 stars. Coming March 31, 2015!
I received this ARC of How to Reprimand Your Rock Star by Mina Vaughn from Gallery, Threshold, Pocket Books through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thea is a freshman basketball player at UConn. She has a lot to prove if she wants to succeed on the team. Yet a distraction arises in the form of rock star Keaton Lowe which she meets in the girls’ locker room. Will Thea be able to concentrate on basketball or will her new found activities with Keaton get in the way. When I first started reading this novel I thought it was going to be a typical romance story of the rock star falling for the normal girl but it was so much more. It was about a young women being open to her basic desires and not being afraid to explore what she wanted. The direction of the sex scenes was a very hot surprise. I however felt that the story line fell flat toward the end. I’m always looking for plot lines that keep me guessing and I found the end predictable. I give How to Reprimand Your Rock Star 3 out of 5 stars. I received this ARC of College Bound by Lilia Ford from Liliaford Romance LLC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is an erotic novel which is intended for adult readers. Natalie finds herself homeless after leaving the home of her stepbrother. When her bad choices leave her with a reputation and no family to go to, she finds herself sleeping in the convenience store where she works. The only thing she has control over is her grades which earn her acceptance into her top choice colleges. Now her problem is how to pay for tuition. Suddenly Gareth Boyd, an old family friend, comes into her life and offers to pay for college and anything she needs but only if she aggress to his proposal. The storyline was an interesting concept but I felt like I was missing a lot of critical information. I also felt like there wasn’t enough time for the characters to develop true emotions. I would have liked to know more about their conversations before the proposal was brought up. How it stands now it seems like the characters relationship was more of a physical obsession rather than having developed true feelings for one another. I give College Bound 3 out of 5 stars. Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors. She has a way of dragging you into this fictional world that grips you and won’t let go. Her books leave you enthralled with the characters even after the book is finished. I would strongly suggest if you haven’t read anything by Colleen Hoover to start with any of her amazing works. Also look out for her upcoming releases, one of which will be available tomorrow.

I received this ARC of My Best Everything by Sarah Tomp from Little, Brown Books for Young Readers through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Lulu Mendez has just been told that her dream of moving out to California for college is no more. Her parents can’t afford to pay her tuition but that doesn’t stop Lulu from coming up with a plan, an illegal one, but a plan nonetheless. Lulu wants to make and sell moonshine but she needs the expertise of Mason, a local boy who has a dark past, but is he willing to help.
The ingredients for moonshine are ordinary. Innocent. Corn. Sugar. Yeast. Heat and Time. They could be the makings for something simple and forgettable. Like corn bread, bland and boring without butter and honey. But the same ingredients, thrown together in a particular way, lead to dangerous results. You say it was all meant to be… There’s a fine line between toxic and intoxicating. Check out Sarah's page for more information on her work: http://sarahtomp.com/publications/
